The National Lottery said the winning Lotto ticket was purchased for the draw on August 19.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said they are desperate to find the “mystery ticketholder and unite them with their winnings”.
Anyone who purchased a ticket in the area is urged to check any old Lotto tickets that may be lying around at home or in pockets of clothing. Tickets can be checked via the National Lottery app.

Mr Carter said: “This amazing prize could really make an enormous difference to somebody’s life.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
The unidentified winner matched five main numbers and the bonus ball in the draw and has until February 15 2024 to claim their life-changing prize.
The winning numbers for the draw were 2, 7, 17, 28, 31, 37 and the bonus ball was 8.
If players for this draw find they no longer possess a previous ticket but have a reasonable case for a genuine claim, they can write to Camelot to raise their claim.
If the ticket remains unclaimed, the prize money and all generated interest will be put towards donations to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
