West Ham United unveil new Umbro Anthem Kit for 2023-24

West Ham United have unveiled their new Umbro 2023/24 Anthem Kit – available to pre-order at officialwesthamstore.com now.

The home kit for the new season features the club’s traditional claret body with blue sleeves, and includes a special detail on the front of every shirt.

The Hammers’ anthem, I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles, is etched into the fabric of the club and a distinctive Bubbles pattern is woven through the Anthem Kit, in recognition of its storied role in West Ham United’s heritage.

Supporters can pre-order their 2023/24 Anthem Kits now with shirts available from Saturday July 15.

Bubbles and West Ham United go hand-in-hand and there are several theories as to how the Broadway song came to be synonymous the Claret and Blue Army, who sing it loud and proud everywhere from east London to all corners of the globe.

Some say it started with Billy ‘Bubbles’ Murray, a Hammers player in the 1920s, who was said to have resembled the curly-haired child seen in the Pears Soap adverts of the time.

Others will tell you it was the Beckton Gas Works Band who brought it to the club through playing it pitchside at the Boleyn Ground. It was also sung during the Blitz in the Tube stations, and heard on the terraces when we won the War Cup.

But whatever story you believe – it’s West Ham United’s song. Their anthem. Their history. The fabric of their club.

Fans sing it in east London and it’s recognised worldwide. It’s a song of hope, a song of pride and will be sung forever.
