A by-election date has been announced to vote for a new councillor in Upminster following the death of Linda Hawthorn.
Cllr Hawthorn died in May after representing the ward as a Havering Residents Association member for more than 30 years.

A spokesperson from Havering Council has said that the by-election is due to take place on August 10.
Residents who are not on the electoral register will need to register to vote by Tuesday, July 25.
Voters, the spokesperson said, will require a valid photo ID at polling stations under the new voting rules.
Residents without one can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate, for which applications can be made online or by post.
The council said its elections office can be contacted on 01708 432444 for a paper application. The deadline to get a new Voter Authority Certificate is 5pm on Wednesday, August 2.
Residents who want to vote by post have been asked by the council to apply by 5pm on July 26. Deadline for proxy voters is 5pm on Wednesday August 2.
Polling cards will be delivered to all eligible voters. Polling stations will remain open from 7am to 10pm on August 10.
