The week beginning August 22 saw a string of incidents in Harringay, Stratford, Romford, and Peckham.

Man in his 20s taken to hospital after stabbing in Harringay
A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Harringay.
The man was found with a knife wound after police were called to a disturbance in Frobisher Road on August 22 at 1am.
He was taken to a north London hospital, where his injuries were not life-threatening.
Another man, 60, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
He was taken to hospital before being taken to custody at a north London police station where he remains.
Man in hospital after ‘large fight and stabbing’ in Stratford
A man has been taken to hospital with a stab injury after a fight in a park.
Police were called to Stratford Park to reports of a “large fight” at around 6.15pm on August 23.
At the scene, emergency services found two men injured.
One man was rushed to hospital with a stab injury. A police spokesperson said that they await an update on his condition.
A second man was found with a head injury and also taken to hospital. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers have not made any arrests and enquiries into the incident continue.
Newborn baby girl found dead at home in Romford
A newborn baby girl has been found dead at a home in Romford.
Officers were called to a home in Mimosa Close just before 7.45pm on August 22.
When they arrived, they discovered the body of a baby girl.
Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford has said that the baby’s death is being treated as “unexplained” and that a post-mortem examination will soon take place.
He added that the post-mortem examination would help officers to determine how long the baby’s body had been in the home.
A man and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
Pedestrian dies after crash with lorry in Peckham
A pedestrian has died after a crash with a lorry in Peckham
The incident happened in Peckham High Street at around 3.35pm on August 23.
Officers were called to the scene and found a pedestrian injured.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were put in place but have since been lifted.
