Two men have been released on bail after being arrested in connection with a fatal collision on the A12.
Last week, Essex Police were called to junction 12 of the A12 near Mountnessing after 3.30pm on June 15 to reports of a single vehicle collision. One man died at the scene.
The Northamptonshire men, 30 and 31, who were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, were released on bail last Friday (June 16).
Queues stretched back as far as Brentwood after the crash, which led to the closure of the A12.
The men were released subject to bail conditions and their bail return is set for September 10.
Enquiries are ongoing and police continue to appeal for information on the collision’s circumstances.
