A horror 72 hours across London saw a woman found dead in a house and three people stabbed.
This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.
The week beginning August 7 saw a string of incidents in Croydon, Finchley, Hounslow, and central London.
Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.
Man, 18, dies after stabbing outside supermarket in Finchley
An 18-year-old man has died after a stabbing outside a supermarket in Finchley.
The incident happened in Regents Park Road at 9.40pm on August 7.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Person taken to hospital and one arrested after Croydon stabbing
A person has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Croydon.
The incident happened in Hermitage Lane just before 11.20am on August 7.
The person was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident.
Woman found dead in London canal
A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead in a canal in Hounslow.
Concerns for the welfare of a person were raised in a home in Northumberland Crescent just after 10.25pm on August 6.
While no one was found inside the property, officers discovered signs of a disturbance.
After carrying out further enquiries, officers arrested a 33-year-old woman at Greenford Bridge on suspicion of murder.
The remains of a body, believed to be that of a 57-year-old woman, were found on August 7, in a canal off Bulls Bridge Lane in Southall.
Man taken to hospital after stabbing outside British Museum
A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing near the British Museum.
It happened at the junction of Russell Street and Museum Street around 10am on August 8.
The 36-year-old was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life threating.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH following the incident.
