A 16-year-old boy has been fighting for life after he was attacked with a knife in East London.
Officers of Met Police were called at 5:31pm on Sunday (July 9) to West Ham Park in Forest Gate to reports of a stabbing.
They found the victim with a stab wound at the scene and provided emergency first aid before the London Ambulance and Air Ambulance Service arrived.
The boy was rushed to an East London hospital where he remains in critical condition. The police have reportedly informed his next of kin.

A spokesperson from Met Police has revealed that two men have been arrested nearby the incident. They currently are held in custody.
A crime scene is sill in place in Upton Park, with the road closed both ways between Portway / Plashet Road and Ham Park Road.
Bus routes 325 and 678 have been impacted and have a detour in operation since last night.
Officers have urged anyone with information to contact the Police on 101, giving the reference 5423/09JUL.
