Ricardo Fuller, 24, was knifed in the neck following a row outside the former Discoteca No Problem club in Ilford on March 7 that year.
Edmund Tucker, 32, and Jermaine Ahenkorah, 30, both of no fixed address, and Emmanuel Tamwesigire, 31, of Chingford, east London, were accused of Ricardo’s murder.
Giving evidence, Tucker claimed he acted in self-defence while Tamwesigire admitted punching the victim but not inflicting a fatal wound. Ahenkorah said he was just running after his friends.

The trio had pleaded not guilty to the murder charge in September 2021.
But a jury at the Old Bailey found Tamwesigire and Tucker guilty of murder and Ahenkorah guilty of the lesser offence of manslaughter today (November 1).
The jury was told that Ricardo was beckoned outside by the five men after a verbal confrontation shortly before 5am.
Ricardo picked up a bottle from the disco and followed the men, the court heard.
After he left the club, Ricardo was chased by the three defendants and the two other men up and down Ilford High Road, prosecutor Danny Robinson KC said.
He added: “He (Ricardo) suffered three stab wounds, one to his neck and two more to his back.
“The stab wound to his neck severed the carotid artery, resulting in massive blood loss.”
CCTV footage was said to show Tucker with an object in his hand as Ricardo hit him in the head with a bottle.
Tamwesigire was then seen running across the road and making two punching motions towards Ricardo.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene and found Ricardo collapsed on the dancefloor, jurors heard.
He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel where he died later that morning.
Two of the five men are still believed to be abroad and wanted on suspicion of murder, Mr Robinson said.
Tucker, Tamwesigire and Ahenkorah have been remanded into custody and will be sentenced at a later date following their guilty verdicts.
