The home side doubled their lead three minutes before half-time when Rian Patel saw his 25-yard effort come back off a post and Chaka Barnett converted the rebound.

And it was 3-0 moments later when Damilola Olusesi won possession and Steve Carvell found Barnett, who teed up Kevin Krans for a first-time shot from the edge of the box.

Wick are due to welcome Clapton Community to their Witham Town base on Saturday.

Hutton lost their top-of-the-table clash at leaders Dunmow Town and now find themselves three points behind their rivals having played one game more.

They took the lead at Scraley Road, but the hosts hit back to level before going down to 10 men early in the second half.

And Dunmow made light of their numerical disadvantage to score twice more to claim a 3-1 victory.

Enfield Borough were also beaten on their travels, going down 5-1 at Wormley Rovers after taking the lead with a fine free-kick.

Charncy Dash levelled for the home side, before George Beattie helped himself to four second-half goals.

Friday night sees Essex Senior League leaders Woodford Town welcome Tilbury to Ashtons, while Tower Hamlets travel to NW London in Thurlow Nunn One South.

And a busy Saturday schedule sees Barking host Takeley, Frenford visit Hullbridge and Romford travel to Stanway Rovers in the Essex Senior, while Barkingside entertain Brimsdown, May & Baker visit Burnham, Enfield Borough host Dunmow, Newbury Forest travel to St Margaretsbury and Clapton go to Wormley in the Thurlow Nunn.
