The family of a missing man, who was last seen in Hackney days ago, has been “stressed” and “concerned” for his safety.

Joe Warren, 47, was reportedly spotted by Marsh Gate Bridge, Hackney Marshes at around 9:28am on Tuesday (July 25) last.

Since then, there was said to be a potential sighting of him near the Lincolns Lane Car Park, Epping Forest on Tuesday (August 1).

Met Police has now launched an appeal for information to trace Warren.

A police press release described him as 6 feet 3 inch tall, with a slim build and short brown hair thinning on the top.

He was found to be wearing a camouflage jacket, green trousers, black trainers with white soles last.

In particular, officers are asking for anyone around the Epping Forest area to look out for him.

Witnesses and anyone with information has been urged to call the police on 101 quoting 23MIS025447.
