London Tube closures October 6-8: See the full list

As with most weekends, some stations will be closed or partly closed for TfL to carry out essential work.

We’ve put a quick list together of all the work this weekend to ensure you don’t get caught out and can plan ahead.

To get the most up-to-date stats for the Underground, you can use the TfL app or website. 

Friday, October 6:

Waterloo & City line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 00:30 only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and on public/bank holidays.

Saturday, October 7:

Elizabeth Line: Sunday 8 October, between 0020 and 0740, no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway. The last service on Saturday night / Sunday morning at 0007 from Heathrow Terminal 5 will not run.

Metropolitan Line: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October, no service between Wembley Park and Amersham / Chesham / Uxbridge / Watford. Chiltern Railways services will not run between Marylebone and Amersham.

Piccadilly Line: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October, no service between South Harrow and Uxbridge. Replacement buses will not operate, please use local London Buses services.

Waterloo & City line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 00:30 only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and on public/bank holidays.

Sunday, October 8:

Elizabeth Line: Sunday 8 October, from 0740, a reduced service will operate between Paddington and Heathrow / Reading. All trains will start and terminate at Paddington National Rail station. 

London Overground: Sunday 8 October, until 1200, no service between Gospel Oak and Woodgrange Park. 

Metropolitan Line: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October, no service between Wembley Park and Amersham / Chesham / Uxbridge / Watford. Chiltern Railways services will not run between Marylebone and Amersham.

Piccadilly Line: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October, no service between South Harrow and Uxbridge. Replacement buses will not operate, please use local London bus services.
