The annual event is held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall with the service seeing members of the British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two world wars and later conflicts featured.

The march is organised by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the armed forces and veterans organisations.

The public is invited to watch the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph from the pavements with screens available to watch near the ceremony.

The Cenotaph March will go from Whitehall south heading towards Parliament Square before taking a right turn to Great George Street and then making another right at Horse Guards Road.

Opposite the Guards Memorial in House Guards Road, the salute will be taken with all then reforming on Horse Guards Parade.

Only those with tickets to the event will be able to see the full map of the march.

What are the timings of the London Cenotaph Remembrance Sunday March

The day will start at 8am when Whitehall opens up to the public where they can stand and watch the march, however, space is limited.

From 10.30am all detachments will form up on the Cenotaph where are 10.50am the participants will process out onto the Centopath.

At 11am, the National two-minute silence will take place as the King’s Troop on Horse Guards Parade will fire their guns, followed by the Cenotaph service.

From 11.25am, the Centopath Service will conclude as the Royal British Legion will disperse past the Cenotaph.

Those who attend the service are encouraged to not bring large bags and avoid bags with multiple complex openings.
