O’s claimed a last-gasp win at leaders Exeter City last weekend, thanks to Ruel Sotiriou’s strike.

And Graham says that second victory in nine outings in all competitions this season has given them a notable lift.

“The mood is really good. I think Saturday was massive for us, as a group,” he told the club website.

“I feel like we’ve been hard done by in some of the games this season in terms of results.

“We’ve had some really good performances, probably most of them bar the Stevenage game [3-0 home defeat].

“We probably deserved to take more from the games than we have.

“So Saturday was a big boost for the boys in terms of our confidence – three points changes everything in football.

“Sometimes it’s alright when you play well and put in good performances but at the end of the day, if the points aren’t there to show for it, then it can be quite frustrating.

“Saturday was really good in terms of getting the points, getting the feeling we deserved to win.

“It was a dogged performance, we worked hard for it, and onwards and upwards now.”

Posh beat Cambridge United 2-0 in the EFL Trophy in midweek and sit three places and two points above Richie Wellens’ side, with a game in hand.

But having started their league campaign with three straight wins, they have lost their last three.

Graham, 28, has made eight appearances so far this season, since joining O’s on a two-year deal in the summer.

And he is hoping to contribute more to the cause, having claimed an assist on Joe Pigott’s first goal for the club in Devon.

“I want more,” he added.

“‘Pigs’ scores from the short corner, that’s just my mindset, my mentality.

“I came here to get as many goals and assists as I can and to help the team.

“It’s something I pride myself on, assisting goals for teammates with my delivery, and it’s been a good start for me in terms of two in three.

“I want to get as many as I can, I want to keep pushing, keep improving, keep learning.

“I want to try and get goals, add to my game. Gaffer gets onto me about getting into scoring positions more, so it’s something I’m working on in training every day.
“First and foremost I’m enjoying being out there, I’m enjoying playing, feeling better each game, each week.

“It’s been tough without really having a pre-season so I feel like I’m 70-80 per cent there. But still so much more to give.”
