A 23-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing outside a tube station in London.

The incident happened outside Ladbroke Grove at around 1.30am today (August 7).

Officers were called to the scene and carried out a search of the area.

A short time later, a man took himself to hospital with a stab injury.

His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

Two men, in their 30s, have been arrested in connection with the investigation.

Transport for London (@TfLAccess) tweeted that Ladbroke Grove station was closed while the incident was dealt with.  

The station reopened at around 6.30am.

Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 1.30am on Monday, 7 August to reports of a man stabbed on Ladbroke Gove, W10.

“Officers attended and carried out a search of the area.

“A 23-year-old man subsequently self-presented at hospital with a stab injury which is not believed to be life-threatening.

“Two men, aged in their 30s, have been arrested in connection with the investigation.

“An extensive crime scene is in place.

“Enquiries continue.”
