British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating an assault at Redbridge Underground Station which occurred at around 10pm on October 8.

They have released images of two women in connection with the incident and believe they may have information which could help their investigation.

That night, the victim intervened in an argument between two other women and a man on a central line train, police said.

After this, one of the women punched the victim on the platform which caused her child, 3, to fall to the floor, BTP added.
