This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The week beginning September 8 saw a string of attacks in Burnt Oak, Vauxhall, Cricklewood, Wandsworth and Biggin Hill. 

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Boy, 15, in hospital with life-changing injuries after stabbing in Vauxhall

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Vauxhall. 

The incident happened in Dorset Road shortly before 9pm on September 8. 

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a boy injured. 

He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non life threatening but potentially life-changing.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

He was taken into police custody.

Man, 34, stabbed to death in Cricklewood home

A murder investigation has launched after a man was stabbed to death in Cricklewood.

Gary Sampson, 34, was found dead at a home in Westcroft Close at around 8.10am on September 8.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a shock and haemorrhaging caused by a stab wound.

Marie Nellie, of Westcroft Close, was arrested at the scene and was taken into police custody.

The 44-year-old will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on September 11 charged with murder.

Police have confirmed that Nellie was known to the victim and at this stage nobody else is sought in connection with the incident.

Inmate in critical condition after stabbing at Wandsworth prison

An inmate is in a critical condition in hospital after a stabbing at HMP Wandsworth.

It comes days after terror suspect Daniel Khalife escaped from the same prison on September 6.

Police were called to reports of an assault just after 3pm on September 10.

The inmate was found injured and taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as critical.

It is thought the incident was between two prisoners.  

No arrests have been made as police enquiries are ongoing.

Man, 24, stabbed in broad daylight in Biggin Hill

A 24-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing in Biggin Hill.

The incident happened in Main Road at 5.20pm on September 10.

The man took himself to a south London hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

Man, 28, taken to hospital after stabbing at Burnt Oak station

A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at a station in Edgware.

The incident happened at Burnt Oak station on September 10 at around 7.30am.

The 28-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made.
