A man who was taken to hospital after a crash in Gants Hill has potentially life-changing injuries, police say.
At around 3.30pm yesterday (Monday, June 26), a car that had failed to stop for police was in collision with a moped in Cranbrook Road, at the junction of Martley Drive.
London Ambulance Service attended and the rider of the moped – a man in his 20s – was treated at the scene, before being taken to hospital.
His condition is now stable and not thought to be life-threatening, but the Met said it could be life-changing.
His next of kin have been informed.
