Former BBC Radio 4 presenter Richard Coles reveals he is in hospital
Richard Coles said: “Well I totally get the thing Michael Jackson had for Propofol. Felt a tad woozy next thing I knew I was in recovery with an upgraded spine (not illustrated) having a lovely dream about dirigibles.”
Fans were quick to show their support for the pop star who co-created hit songs like Don’t Leave Me This Way.
One user said: “I hope you’re ok, sir! I wish you a speedy recovery,” while another added: “Wishing you a VERY speedy recovery and sending all good wishes.”
Another fan advised: “Glad you’re well, sir. Keep up the good work, and listen to the nurses! Propofol is good stuff. I had it daily for a month during my ECT.”
One person simply said: “Glad it went ok xxx swift recovery xx.”
This comes after the former vicar quit BBC Radio 4 after 12 years on the air.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant expressed his disappointment with the broadcaster after it decided to relocate the Saturday Live show to Cardiff.
He explained: “If you leave a programme after 12 years, a gentler process would have been nice. But what happens happens.
“It just feels a little bit rushed. It’s been frustrating for me having to wait for an announcement, and now it’s my last programme on Saturday. I’d rather have had a longer goodbye to listeners.
“It just feels a bit sad. I’m sorry to go; I’ve loved the programme, I’ve loved the people I’ve worked with, and it’s been a big part of my life. I shall miss it.”
