Connections between Wood Green and Ilford, Stratford and Chingford, and Stratford and Romford will be improved from the end of this month.
Starting on Saturday 26, route 123 between Wood Green station and Ilford, and route 158 between Stratford bus station and Chingford Mount will become a 24-hour service, seven days a week.
Route 86, which travels between Stratford bus station and Romford station, will see its frequency increased on Sundays.
It will now run ever eight to nine minutes, instead of every 10 minutes during the day.
It comes as London Mayor Sadiq Khan announced that route X26 between Heathrow Central and West Croydon would be renumbered SL7.
The route will now officially be part of London’s express bus service, Superloop, which aims to improve transport links in the capital’s outer boroughs.
TfL is currently consulting on proposed Superloop services which would connect Walthamstow and North Woolwich, with plans for stops in Gants Hill, Ilford and Barking.
Louise Cheeseman, Director of Buses at TfL, said: “Buses remain the most accessible, available and affordable form of public transport connecting outer London’s network to town centres, hospitals, schools and transport hubs.”
