Three dogs have been seized after they attacked a young child in a park in Tower Hamlets.
Police were called at 3.20pm on Saturday (July 8) to reports of the incident in a playground near to Ackroyd Drive in Poplar.
They found a four-year-old boy with bite injuries at the scene. He was taken to hospital as a precaution and his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.

The officers captured three dogs who were taken in a van for further assessment.
A spokesperson for Met Police said the owner of the dogs was also treated at the scene for a bite injury but declined to go to hospital.
Labour councillor Mohammad Chowdhury told the Evening Standard that dogs were not allowed in that park and residents had earlier informed the owner of the seized dogs to not bring them there.
No arrests have been made in the case. Enquiries by police into circumstances continue.
