DLR Strikes: When are the strikes and what’s affected?

The strikes will see a number of services disrupted as TfL is encouraging commuters to find alternative travel for the affected days.

Discussing the strikes, TfL’s chief operating officer Glynn Barton said: “Strikes are bad news for everyone and we continue to work with our operator, KeolisAmey Docklands, to try and resolve the matter and avoid disruption to our customers.

“Our advice for our customers is clear; plan ahead, consider alternative routes, check before you travel and allow extra time to complete your journeys.”

⚠️ Strikes will affect DLR services between 7 – 9 of November.

No service is expected on the DLR on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 November.

What days is the DLR on strike?

The DLR strike will be taking place across two days, Tuesday, November 7 and Thursday, November 9.

How will the DLR service be affected during strike action?

TfL has shared that they expect no DLR services to run on the strike action days, adding that services that do run are set to be late and finish earlier than usual.

Whilst the DLR will have limited services running, the tube, London Overground, Elizabeth line, buses and the IFS Cloud Cable Car should be running to their usual schedule.

The strikes are taking place on the DLR in a dispute over working conditions and pay.
