Transport for London (TfL) opened the consultation last Friday (July 21) for people to register their views on the SL2, an express bus service between Walthamstow and North Woolwich.
The route passes through Gants Hill, Ilford and Barking but not Havering, which was omitted from the Superloop plans earlier this year.
“The Superloop is a key part of the mayor’s commitment to improving the bus network in outer London,” TfL’s website said.

September 4 has been set as the consultation’s end date.
The SL2, proposed to run alongside part of the existing 123 bus route, has 14 stops and includes Ilford station, Barking town centre and University of East London’s Docklands Campus in Newham.
Buses would run every 12 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes on evenings and Sundays.
At stops used by SL2 and 123 buses, there would be a frequency of around 11 buses per hour in Monday to Saturday daytimes, according to TfL.
