One of London’s top restaurateurs has launched a series of in-conversations, with snacks and dinner, that celebrate creative women entrepreneurs.

Samyukta Nair, the restaurateur behind KOYN, Bombay Bustle, MiMi Mei Fair, Jamavar and Socca, has launched Made by Women, a series that details the creative journeys of some of London’s most successful high-achieving women.

Winner of Best Restaurateur in the GQ Food & Drinks Award and Restaurateur of the Year in the National Restaurant Awards, Nair will host the series at one of her restaurants, Bombay Bustle.

On Monday, September 4, Sustainable fashion outfit By Rotation founder Eshita Kabra will start the series off, outlining how she went from working in finance to moving into fashion.

Award-winning Rosie Birkett, author of The Joyful Home Cook and east London Food, will be the next speaker on Monday, September 11, chatting about her writing path and experience as a recipe writer.

Cookery writer Skye McAlpine, will delve into her love of hosting a dinner party on Monday, October 2, while Olia Hercules, Cook for Ukraine co-founder, former Ottolenghi chef, activist and author, will discuss the dishes that preserve Ukraine’s cuisine and culture, and which are close to her heart on Monday, October 9.

The evenings will start with canapes and champagne before the talk and live Q&A, and a sublime meal will follow which includes many of Bombay Bustle’s most popular dishes; samosas, papdi chaat, paneer butter masala, Malabar lamb curry, dabba dal and jalebi cheesecake for dessert.
