Accidentally Wes Anderson (AWA) features more than 200 offbeat and real-life images that exude the charm of the director’s particular and exact visual style and is based on the popular trend of sharing Wes Anderson-like images on social media.

The AWA Instagram account, which is the exhibition’s ground zero, has more than 1.8million followers. AWA has even been turned into a New York Times best selling book of the same name. Currently #accidentllywesanderson has been used on more than 300,000 posts on Instagram.

AWA co-founder, Wally, said: “Our tiny team loves getting lost in all the amazing photo and video submissions the AWA community sends our way, and we cannot wait to share a beautifully curated selection in one of our favourite cities.

“Our mission has always been the same, since we started AWA in 2017 – to provide a daily dose of delight and inspire a sense of adventure and curiosity for all that wish to participate, we hope that this experience can do just that for everyone that visits”.  

Pastel-soaked images of interiors, buildings, landscapes and objects taken by photographers from around the world pay tribute to travel, photography community and adventure.

They will be displayed in seven themed rooms when the exhibition opens in Kensington on December 8. Themes include Transport, Maritime, Nature and Hotels/Motels as well as the more opaque themes of Post Office, Doors (which promises to be a space for imagination and portals of all kind) Classic Facades and The London Room

There will also be “interactive surprises” at the exhibition which has been created in partnership with immersive experience and entertainment platform Fever.

Tickets to the exhibition start from £10.99 and £6.00 adult/child and are on sale at fever.up from November 8.
