Police want to trace two men who were refused entry to a home after allegedly posing as officials from a water company.

The men, said to be between 30 and 35, on Wednesday (June 14) reportedly knocked on a homeowner’s door in Bradwell Close, Hornchurch stating that they needed to turn water in the property off.

The men were refused entry by the owner, police said.

The men, said to have Irish accents, were described as white with cropped hair, wearing dark jumpers, jeans, blue face masks and lanyards.
