A woman is in a critical condition after being found injured in Rainham.
The woman, 30, was found injured after police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 11.05pm on Friday (June 2) to an address in Betterton Road.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance where her condition was deemed critical, police said.
A man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
Both are thought to know each other, police added.
