Four goals in 10 minutes towards the end of the first half put Isthmian League Premier outfit Billericay firmly on top against Bury Town at New Lodge.
Bradley Stevenson broke the deadlock against the Isthmian North visitors on 35 minutes, with Ben Wells and Ade Azeez netting in quick succession to make it 3-0.
And Stevenson struck again just before the break, in front of a crowd of 518, to take his tally for the season to 11 for Gary McCann’s men.
Stevenson made way midway throgh the second half, with substitute Moses Emmanuel completing a 5-0 win six minutes from time.
Isthmian North Redbridge, meanwhile, caused an upset at Premier Division outfit Haringey Borough.
Dean Hall put George Christou’s Motormen in front just past the hour mark, with Solomon Ogunwomoju doubling the advantage from the penalty spot with only five minutes remaining.
Substitute Nadum Melvin-Lambert halved the deficit soon after for Tom Loizou’s home side, but it was little consolation.
Southern League Premier South side Hendon beat rivals Walton & Hersham by the same 2-1 margin after a hard-fought encounter at Silver Jubilee Park.
Matt Kerbey denied the visitors in the first half, before a long ball put Kai Brosnan away to beat Tyla Dickinson and give Lee Allinson’s Greens the lead.
Sam Adenola’s superb effort after a fine run made it 2-0 in the second half, but Hendon had a reprieve when Samuel Tutt fired two free-kicks against the frame of the goal.
Eddie Simon did manage to find the net for the visitors in stoppage time, but it was too late to prevent Hendon’s progress.
North London neighbours Harrow fell behind just before the hour mark against Beaconsfield at Earlsmead, who struck again on 78 minutes.
And Victor Osobu’s penalty came too late in the day to make any difference to the outcome as Jordan Berry’s side went out.
*Isthmian Premier leaders Hornchurch saw their game at Concord Rangers postponed after a pitch inspection.
But Enfield Town romped to a 6-3 win over Hashtag United, to move up to third.
Reece Beckles-Richards put Gavin Macpherson’s side ahead just before the half-hour mark, but Greg Halford levelled from the spot at the start of the second half.
The home side regained the lead soon after through Marcus Wyllie, with Sam Youngs making it 3-1 before the hour.
Youngs struck again from the spot, before Wyllie grabbed his second to make it 5-1.
Hashtag hit back through Misha Djemaili and Percy Kiangebeni in stoppage time, but Youngs had the last word as he completed his hat-trick to round off the scoring.
Brentwood Town ran out 2-0 winners at Bowers & Pitsea in Isthmian North, thanks to first-half goals from Daniel Ogunleye and Mekhi McKenzie.
