The week beginning September 20 saw a string of attacks in Finsbury Park and Petts Wood.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Man, 19, dies after stabbing at park in Petts Wood

A 19-year-old man has died after a stabbing at a park in Petts Wood.

The incident happened in Jubilee Park near Tent Peg Lane at around 2.30pm on September 20.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

His next of kin have been informed but a formal identification is yet to take place.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

A murder investigation has been launched following the incident.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

Two men taken to hospital after double stabbing in Finsbury Park

Two men have been taken to hospital after a double stabbing in Finsbury Park.

The incident happened in Rock Street just after 3.10am on September 21.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found two men, aged 19 and 24, injured.

They were taken to hospital where their injuries were assessed as non life-threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
